The City of Hobbs recently hosted the New Mexico Recreation and Parks Association (NMRPA) State Conference. Having heard about Steve’s successful and interactive presentation on “Thriving in a Multi-Generational Workplace” that he had previously conducted for all City of Hobbs employees, I knew this same presentation would be both appropriate and very valuable for NMRPA State Conference attendees. Those attending the session at the NMRPA State Conference raved about Steve and his dynamic presentation. Feedback from those attending made it clear that this was a great session and information that they’d like to have Steve present again at next year’s NMRPA State Conference.

Steve spoke to the Hobbs Municipal School’s Coaching Staff where there is an approximate 50 year generational gap from our youngest coach to our oldest coach. He passionately delivered insights that were applicable to all coaches in dealing with this generation of kids/athletes. His integration of the Gold Standard principles were right on target and the breath of fresh air of encouragement was exactly what we needed to hear in preparation for a new season and school year.

Generations in the Workplace:

This lively interactive workshop engaged my school leaders and counselors to better understand how they and others in the workplace view problems, seek solutions, and approach life. My staff loved Steve’s energetic messaging and have been talking about how they are applying their learning in new ways.

I invited Steve to my Leadership Summit hoping to energize and enlighten my team on the positive challenges we face with five generations in our workforce. He did that and more! His positive energy and acceptance of all the various attributes each generation brings to work was extremely engaging. His exercise was called out as one of the highlights of our retreat.

I heard Steve speak on generational differences and I was very impressed, enough so that I invited him to speak at our Company Safety meeting.  Steve’s presentation was very engaging, and was well received by all of our employees.  Steve is a great communicator that makes everyone think, and feel they are a part of the presentation, not just a member of the audience at the same time.  I would highly recommend Steve, and hope to have him back in the near future to speak again.

Steve Sauceda has been involved with Junction Christian Academy the last couple of years.  He is our “pronouncer” at JCA’s Annual Spelling Bee.  He has an incredible voice and command of the English language, but more importantly, he knows how to “command”, handle and relate to a crowd!  He has also emceed the JCA 2019 World Changer’s Gala introducing people and the live auction items for sale.  He knows how to get the crowd involved!  Our students and staff love him!  Thank you, Steve, for relating to us, entertaining us, and always being so professional!

Steve not only shows it’s okay to be yourself, but to love yourself. He talks of what is relevant in this day and age, hits real topics that need to be addressed and puts himself out there! Steve is such a blessing and captivates me and leaves a lasting impression every time I hear him speak.  He is so real and transparent with his audiences.  He is honest, humble, and has a great sense of humor.  I have heard him speak multiple times to middle school females in regards to remaining true to themselves and refraining from sexual activity through the MyPower program in the Eunice Public Schools.  Even though he was speaking on a topic for the middle school girls, he somehow found a way to touch my life as an adult.  He is truly a blessing to all who know him and I am proud to call him my friend.
